Britney Spears Work Bitch - It's Finally Here!

After weeks of speculation surrounding a mysterious social media countdown, Britney's big announcement was leaked a day early and yep, you guessed it. New single alert. Work Bitch is the lead track from Britney's eighth studio album and it's a scorcher. With writing credits from Will.I.Am and Swedish House Mafia's Sebastian Ingrosso, the song was always going to be a dance floor filler but does it match up to the huge expectations of Britney's ginormous fanbase? Click below to find out.

While the nearest comparison is obviously Scream and Shout, Britney's new single is still incredibly different for the pop princess. After overcoming the initial surprise, I found myself loving Work Bitch for its intense upbeat production and Britney's bad ass attitude. I think some hardcore fans may struggle to enjoy Work Bitch but this is a bold new step in Britney's career which should pay off massively in the long run. Critics are already praising the track, which manages to make Britney still sound relevant without trying too hard to fit into the current pop climate. However, will it match up to the huge success of Katy Perry's Roar or Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball. Only time will tell.

But I want to know what you guys think. How does Work Bitch fare compared to other lead singles like Hold It Against Me and Womanizer? Do you prefer this or Scream and Shout? And will the new track gain Britney her sixth Billboard number one? Let us know your thoughts by commenting, liking and sharing below. Thanks!
