Oscars 2013: Best Actor, Who Should Win?

This years best actor category is the only one that I managed to predict correctly, well done me. For me this is possibly the most boring category because the winner seems to be already decided, but lets take a look at who has been nominated anyway shall we?

Here are the nominations:

Bradley Cooper - Silver Linings Playbook.

Daniel Day-Lewis - Lincoln.

Hugh Jackman - Les Miserables.

Joaquin Phoenix - The Master.

Denzel Washington - Flight.

Who will win? Daniel Day-Lewis - Lincoln.

After winning the Golden Globe for the role, it looks like it will be plain sailing for Daniel Day-Lewis from here all the way to Oscar night, stopping off to pick a Sag award and a Bafta along the way of course.

Who should win? Daniel Day-Lewis - Lincoln.

All the critical acclaim, hype and awards that Day-Lewis has received for his role in Lincoln is completely deserved.
Who should have been nominated? John Hawkes - The Sessions

Both Helen Hunt and John Hawkes' perfomances have been critically plauded, with many citing Hawkes as the films stand out and while Hunt picked up a nomination, Hawkes' name was nowhere to be seen.

What do you think of the choices I've made? Do you agree wholeheartedly or do you disagree angrily? Feel free to let me know, comment, like, share and follow. Thanks.
