Glee - New Character Jake Puckerman

Only 4 days to go until the new series of Glee premieres! The last post took a look at the new cheerleader Kitty and what she might be getting up to in season 4. Today we're going to showcase one of the last newcomers that have been added to the show, Jake Puckerman. Here he is with his half-brother Noah!

I can kind of see the resemblance...

From what I've heard, it seems like Jake will be one of the more reluctant members of the New Directions, with a potential love interest in the character of Marley. Here he is again, trying to be all attitudey and smouldering.

Sound like anyone else you know?

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I am just a teensy bit worried that the Glee writers couldn't think of any new characters so they've just decided to throw in a whole bunch of original cast clones but maybe I'll be proved wrong. You never know, some of them might quickly become new favourites. We'll just have to wait and see in 4 days time.

At the tender age of 19, Jacob Artist has had little showbiz experience prior to playing Jake Puckerman, with just a few random roles in shows like 'Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures' and 'Melissa & Joey'. Here he is in a TV film called 'Blue Lagoon: The Awakening', that came out this year.

I know, I've not heard of it either. But Denise Richards is in it so that's something!

In a recent interview, Jacob Artists hinted that his character will create some waves amongst the new women joining the show, so it'll be interesting to see how that pans out. I'm also intrigued by how the writers will explore the relationship between Jake Puckerman and his older brother, hopefully fleshing out Noah's character as well with more insight into his background. Here's a final picture of Jake being all bad boy and posey. Hope you like it!

Let me know if you're excited about the new Puckerman addition to the cast and keep coming back for daily updates in the countdown to the new series of Glee. 4 days left! It's almost here Gleeks!
